Safety Notes

Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in serious injury.

♦ For items that require replacement work, please contact your dealer or distributor.

♦ DO NOT open the e-HUB yourself. The eHUB Wheel must be repaired only by qualified experts and original spare parts.

♦ DO NOT make any modification to the eHUB Wheel.

♦ DO NOT use the bike without the protection cover for the charging connector.

♦ Protect the eHUB Wheel against severe heat, fire and immersing into water.

♦ Charge the eHUB only with the original battery charger.

♦ Before any charging operation, check the battery charger status (cable, plug,connectors).

♦ Vapors can escape in case of damage or improper use of the charger.

♦ Natural wear and quality degradation are not quarantined during normal use.

♦ Please read this manual carefully.

Make sure that the wheel axle is fully inserted into the dropout-the slot in the bike’s frame or forks-on both sides.

Check that your brakes are in top shapes.

 

  • Use: use only on a road and trekking bike. The eHUBs are designed for paved roads. If used on unpaved roads, there is a risk of tipping over due to deformation or breakage of the wheels. Any other use (such as on cyclo-cross bike, or off-road use…) is highly inadvisable, is the sole responsibility of the user and voids the eHUB warranty.

  • Make sure the wheels are secure before cycling. You may fall and get seriously injured.

  • If you use the quick release incorrectly, you could be seriously injured if the wheels fall off. Please read the quick release user manual carefully.

  • Check the inflation pressures in all your tires at least once each month.

  • Please check the calibration of the eHUB carefully. A wrong calibration could lead to a non correct behavior of your bike. And will void warranty claims

GETTING STARTED

  • Confirm that the eHUB has been calibrated by the dealer.

  • Turning on: Press the button for 1 second. The eHUB beeps once. Lights on.

  • As you start pedaling the motor will kick in, the moment you stop pedaling the motor turns off.

  • Electric power assist works limitedly: from 0 mph to 15.6 mph( 25 km/hr ).

  • Uphill adding power, downhill power-off automatically. 

  • The device will automatically shut down after the bicycle stopped for 15 minutes.

  • Turning off: Press the button for 3 seconds. The eHUB beeps twice. All lights off

  • Low power warning: Lights flashing and keeps on beeping until you turn the eHUB off.

  • ( Turn the eHUB off as you can. And charge the e-HUB at your convenience.

  • Remove the protection cover. And charge the eHUB with the original charger.

  • Charger red light on: Charging status.

  • Charger green light on: Fully charged.

  • ( The eHUB is auto-on while connected with the charger.)

♦ Note: The tire pressure of the vehicle is the factory setting value, the e-HUB is a brand new battery with fully charged, driving in the urban area at an average speed of 20 km/hr with a 60 kg rider in a sunny breeze and an ambient temperature of 25°C. And then test it visually on a general flat asphalt road with a slope of less than 1% until the electricity runs out. Cycling mileage varies greatly depending on temperature, weight, speed,shift gears,tires pressure,pedaling cadence and terrain.

Transport

Item with internal battery packs are subject to Dangerous Goods Legislation requirements.Private users can transport such undamaged items by road without further requirements. When being transported by commercial users or third parties (e.g.. air transport or FWD agencies), special requirements on packaging and labeling must be observed.  

Disposal

The eHUB and all its components should be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
