The e-HUB was designed to be universal. It will fit any front fork that was built according to the international standard of front fork width:100mm, and dropout 10mm size. 90% bikes on the market follow this standard, except some certain customized bikes.

3.What is my old front wheel doesn’t have a quick release?

If you’re old wheel uses lock nuts, the assembly process remains the same except for removing your existing wheel. For axel’s with lock nuts, you’ll need to use a wrench to twist the nuts counter clockwise to loosen. After a quick turn, you should be able to hand twist the nuts off. Once your rim brakes are loose, you should be able to remove your front wheel without issue.

Important: When replacing your e-HUB wheel with your bike’s traditional wheel, be sure that the quick release, or lock nuts, are securely fastened! Failing to do so can result in serious injury.

4.How tight should e-HUB Wheel’s quick release be?

Quick release technology is awesome at making install fast and easy, but it’s extremely important you provide enough friction on the quick release to ensure safe operation.

When twisting the quick release closed, rotate until you feel some friction. Then close the lever 180 degrees.

This should take your full grip strength, and leave a light imprint on your palm.

If you find the lever is too tough to close, open it, and slightly loosen before trying again. For more details, please refer to this article ” The Right Way to Close a Quick Release “.
